Celine Chau
Event Coordinator
Hi all! I am Celine from Hong Kong. My journey from the small country in East Asia to this GREAT country in North America started in Sep 2022. From late summer to autumn, seeing the maple leave turning from green to brilliant colours, glowing red, amber orange and golden yellow. As a shutterbug, I just can’t turn my camera off whenever I was walking on the sidewalk. After the falling of the maple leaves, I was so excited to experience my first snow here. The whole city was covered by the shining white snow in winter. I think I am in love with this colourful country.
When the freezing winter is over, an amazing event will be in store —The Great Canadian Trivia Night! I sincerely invite you to enjoy this unforgettable CANADIAN night with The EH Team!
Gracie Kinkade
Event Coordinator
Small town girl with big dreams. Hi! I’m Gracie Kinkade and I am an Algonquin College student. I have just finished the Hospitality Hotel and Restaurant Management program and am now having an amazing experience in the Event Management program. I am a born and raised Canadian from the amazing city of Ottawa. I have lived in a small town in Canada my whole life and have had the best times discovering the beauty of this country. I love to play hockey and can never go a day without my Tim Horton's coffee. I have always dreamt of having my own business as an event planner and have a large venue on my own property. Travelling has been my passion and I can’t wait to travel around the world but I will always return back to my home Canada. I can’t see myself living anywhere but this beautiful place. I can’t wait to meet you all at our Great Canadian Trivia Night. I hope to see you all there!:)

All the way from Hong Kong to Ottawa. Hi all! I am Hester, an international student born and raised in Hong Kong who travelled across the world to start a new life in Canada. Longing for freedom and diversity, I’ve been dreaming of living in this beautiful country. A few months of life here tells me that moving to Canada is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I can’t wait to explore the beauty of Canada on my way to becoming a true Canadian! If you are also an international student like I am, I invite you to join my journey in discovering the many sides of Canada in The Great Canadian Trivia Night:)
Kayleigh Bates
Administration & Communications
Hello! My name is Kayleigh, and I am from Dinorwic, Ontario. Growing up in “the bush” of Northwestern Ontario provided many opportunities to experience the serenity that can be found in the Canadian outdoors. In addition to the natural wonders found across the country, I am always amazed at how the residents of Canada step up to support one another in times of need. I hope you will join us for an exciting evening of games, activities, and conversations revolving around Canada.
Kyla Smuck

Being born and raised in Ottawa, Canada means I'm no stranger to "sorry", "eh", and the classic Timmies run. My name is Kyla, and I'm a graduate of the Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program at Algonquin College. I am now working my way through the Event Management program, and hosting The Great Canadian Trivia Night with my teammates is definitely a highlight of my college experience! I've loved living in Canada and being involved in the positive community of people here. I hope to travel to see more of Canada's beauty in the future. I am proud to be hosting an event that showcases the best of Canada and reflects why I am proud to live in this country! I hope to see you there!
Lovishna Boodhun
Lead Designer
From sand to snow; Hi all! I’m Lovishna, an international student from Mauritius island.
I grew up surrounded by the beach and nature and always wondered how I would cope with moving to a whole new country - 3 flights away from home. But Canada surprised me with its beauty and everything to explore and discover. It is the complete opposite of my “usuals” and comfort zone, yet Canada makes me feel at home. Is my to do list filled with Canadian places and activities? YES.
On this note, I invite you to discover a little more about this gorgeous country, home to Canadians and many internationals.
Nadine Fortin
Operations Manager
Salut! Je m’appelle Nadine and I am a bilingual Canadian, born and raised in Aylmer (Gatineau) Quebec. I have had the joy of living near the Gatineau parks that overlook the Nation's Capital, Ottawa. I have taken a road trip out East and seen the beauty in the countryside of PEI, heard the sounds of crashing ocean waves at Peggy’s Cove, and all learned of the history for New Brunswick and Nova Scotia have to offer. I have also visited the majestic Rocky Mountains in Banff, Calgary. I am incredibly grateful to live in such a beautiful country.
